2015 Valkyrie Fair Price

Hello,

I am seriously considering buying a 2015 Valkyrie I found at a dealer and they have it listed for $11999 but says doesn't include freight, set up, tax, etc on their website. I know they have had this bike for over a year and not sure if they have anymore in a crate, etc. What is a good price for this bike based on this scenario? I was also thinking as part of the deal I would have them change the brake fluid as been sitting for long time and have them guarantee if their is an issue with tires due to flat spots they would take care of as been sitting on floor long time.

Thanks

Years ago I purchased a 2 year old crate bike and had no issues with it for the 9 years I had it. If your willing to fly in and buy look at the college station PA dealer and dealers in Wisconsin. If you choose to stay local you’ll have to walk in and see what they will do.
Best
ALL the fluids have to be changed. The GA dealers I've been to haven't been very flexible but I wouldn't pay more than 11k for this bike. You can find a sweet 2014 for 9k or less and there's no difference between the models.

KBB places a 2015 Valk at about 8k for trade in value and 11k for retail. So that's your ballpark. If this is a new bike with 0 miles, expect to pay close to retail.
If it's used, you have some bargaining room and should be able to knock it down, if you're firm and willing to walk if they won't budge.
Which dealer is this? Freedom powersports?
I tried to send you a private message to not clutter up thread but wont allow me as new and have to make 15 posts before you can. If you want to text me 470-281-7604 can discuss as have found bikes at multiple dealers.

Thanks,

Mark
Prgmerror - thanks for the advice - I am buying a new in crate 15 Valkyrie from a dealer in PA. We will drive up and trailer it back and make a vacation out of it. I am very happy to find one in a crate. I brought up fluids and they said they just got from Honda in a crate so not necessary and the dealer I bought my 12 Goldwing from said the same thing and he shoots me straight. I will see about maybe doing the brake fluid locally possibly.

I just purchased a 2015 Valkyrie, from freedom power sports in Canton Georgia. I paid $10.500 out the door tax and title. I checked around Illinois, Texas, Georgia is where I made my deal. Also checked Marilyn, and Ohio. Pay 10,500 out the door cash money . It’s possible to get a good deal but you got to do your research and know how to talk to them. That works for me, hope that tidbit can help.
Got mine this week at Rockingham Sportcycles in NC for under 9500 otd + tax. Similar price in PA. Everytime I heard of a lower price it didn't pan out. They have both 14 & 15 models. Nice folks, did what they said. I chose the 14 blacked out blur and ordered a windscreen and risers as soon as I got home. Great deal on a fine bike. I still have my VTX, but I don't know for how long. The only thing I miss is the perfect sound of my X's pipes. And it sits a little better, and can't beat the 1.5" punisher's, and the tsukayu qr bags, and maybe I will hang on to it a little while longer lol
Which state does Honda warehouse goldwing Valkyries and golgwing fb’s ? I’m just curious which state has the best prices. Would they be cheaper from a dealer that is located in the state where Honda warehouses their still in the crate bikes? Is there anyone that has an answer for that?
Honda Warehouse

I bought a "new" 2015 end of April and it was shipped out of Louisiana, believe it's in Shreveport. Normally if a warehouse depletes the inventory in a warehouse Honda transfers additional units back to that warehouse. Example: When I told the local dealer to get me a Valkyrie none of the 2015 red were available in the Shreveport warehouse. Two days later there were 5 available. My local dealer told me he can only get units from that warehouse. I saw several bikes in different states all being offered under 10K. IMO, I don't think it matters from what warehouse it comes from, the bottom OTD price is what matters

the dealers I talked to mentioned chicago and california - so at least 3 with shreveport, I would guess 1 more on the east coast

with the prices / and units pushed out, that honda came up with in the last weeks , my guess is the warehouses have been emptied
