NewB here. I'm looking to buy a Valkyrie and came across an advertisement from a dealer "cedarcreekmotorsports com" offering a 2014 Valkyrie brand new with 1 mile for less than $10.0K.
I just want to know how you guys feel about adeal like this, how possible is that.
Any advise will be greatly appreciated (I'm drooling)

I bought my Valkyrie from Cedar Creek - Mark Aderman was the sales guy.

I tried to PM you with actual numbers but don't have enough posts... didn't think it was cool to put real numbers out to the whole world... But I can vouch for the dealership and I've not yet found a better deal than the one I made.

If by chance you like the blue - and if by chance you want the Fleetliner locking hard saddlebags - I never mounted mine up and would be willing to make you a deal on them. Email me at [email protected] or text 317 942 0303 if interested.

You can see my posts elsewhere on the forum with my 2cents on the bags, and my offer to sell them... I didn't like the bags (or dealing with Corbin) but people are different and just wanted to offer. Not for me, but the bags would be good for some folks, just depending on what they want.

In any case wish you the best of luck - I have 1300 miles on mine now, got it at the end of March. Love it. I can't wait to go to work cause I use it to commute - and then I can't wait to go home. I find excuses to ride it - it's a great bike. Enjoy!

I appreciate all your answers, and just waiting for the dealer to open so rolling, some years back I miss on a chance to buy a Rune, not this time. Freight and taxes and handling is the next step to see the final figure. Never before rode a big bike (I'm only 5'7) but is time for some big machine.
Freepatriot if I go for the blue I'll be in touch.

Thank you.

Thank you.
Bike has a low center of gravity. Easy peasy.

It's a good price, about what I'd expect given that this model didn't sell well enough to justify honda continuing it. If your total with fees comes out to well under 11k, as I expect it should, you did fine, no reason for complaints.

I'm 5'6" but have no issues with this bike. Of course, it is a heavy bike, and if you make a mistake like stopping while not completely straight up, or hit a patch of ice even at slow speed, and this bike starts to fall, you're not gonna stop it. Don't ask me how I know.

If you haven't take the MSF class, take it. It's very valuable, even to experienced riders. Think of it as an inexpensive add-on to your life insurance. Practice your slow speed manuevers, you need to be able to do u-turns and deal with the usual traffic in a parking lot without being intimidated by the weight of your bike. If you can feel confident at slow speeds, everyday riding will be a pleasant experience for you.

I bought my bike from an out of state dealer, State College, PA, and paid exactly the listed price of 9,999. I paid tax and registration when I got it back to NY. Love the price and love the bike. It gets respect from both Cruisers and Sport Bike riders. I also get a lot of "Honda Really?!?"

It seems like some dealers charge "frieght and or assembly" and some just sell it straight up internet price plus tax and tags. I'm finding most dealers won't give me an out the door price over email. These dealers also have pretty crappy reviews.

The price with these leftover models are so good. So much bike for the money.
