I cannot find the answer to my questions. I need to work on underside of bike and was going to use the jack I have used for ten years on my VTX. But alas, this puppy does not sit on frame rails, as the engine is integrated. I have read something about a Valkyrie adapter (from j & s lifts). What is the secret to using a jack lift, or do I need some adapter??

Not sure what jack you got but I just shoved a couple of pieces of board on each side of my atv jack so it picked the bike up vaguely level and then put car stands under the 2 crash bars and the rear frame that holds the shock linkage and lowered it onto that.

Oh I also put rubber pads on the top of the car stands because it is brutal lowing it down onto them without it.
