I'm interested in the picking up a 2014 Valkyrie. From everything that I have read this bike seems to have very little weaknesses. I did read that Goldwings have issues with steering wobble.

Do the 2014+ Valkyries suffer from the handlebar shake that the regular goldwings have?

Almost 7k miles on the Valk and no wobble. Bikes like the Valkyrie with their twin frames and their flat opposed 6 cylinders are not susceptible to a wave unless there is something seriously wrong with the frame, tires, or bearings. In those cases you'll know there is a problem long before it starts to wobble. I've had the "death wobble" on Road Kings and Ultra Classics, mostly going in and out of curves. I think it's a result of Harley's way of mounting the engine to the frame. If you ever get in a wobble, let off the gas and let it wobble out. Do NOT use the brakes, especially not in a curve!

At 6,000 miles or so my 2014 Valkyrie developed a de acceleration wobble fro 45 down to 30 mph with no hands on bars. Stock Dunlop was beginning to cup on the left side. I increased air pressure to 40_41 lbs. Also replaced wheel weights with Dyna Beads. This helped but did not eliminate wobble. Then i replaced steering head Ball bearings with Tapered roller bearings, wobble gone. This has worked on other motorcycles over the years. Seems to be a permanent fix.

I put a lot of miles on recently but due to my bad back I let go to the bars alot and I was worried about a speed wobble. I've never had a problem at any speed, anywhere, anytime. Enjoy the Valkyrie I'm sure you'll love yours just like I do mine.
