18 year return to the gold wing

I grew up riding motorcycles and 4 wheelers. My dad had a blue Gold Wing GL1200. I'll never forget that bike. He used to strap me to him with a rope and sit me on top of the gas tank to go out riding. I remember riding that bike when I was 15 to prove to my dad that I was ready for my own motorcycle. Well, a Honda Shadow 750 ACE, Honda GTX 1300, Kawasaki Versys (hated it) later and I'm back into the gold wing family with my Valkyrie. I love this bike. Just put the first coat of wax on it, 19 miles in. Smoothest bike I've ever had, it's a keeper for life.
