LED Fog Lights

Ordered the Show Chrome square fog lights that fit the lower cowl opening instead of the Honda round accessory lights which sit behind the cowl opening. Plug and play unit with similar mounting brackets and switch. Will review after they arrive and I install them.

$314 installed is a good price considering the lights alone retail for $349. I got mine for $286 shipped and will install them myself.

Since its a new bike and I have not brought it home yet they gave me 10% off and free install on any accesories. I did the fog lights, heel shifter and the dual USB port charger that was $25 from big bike parts. Figured I would let the do any wiring :-)

Installed mine last night after work. I already removed the cowl and clipped out the center covers. I then used a straight toenail cipper to remove as much remaining plastic nubs before sanding smooth the inner lip with sandpaper. Came out perfect. Now on to the install. Parts are high quality and solid. I separated left and right pieces and hardware and did much pre assembly inside the house before heading out to the garage. The right side uses shorter bolts and a short 4mm spacer on inside bolt while left uses longer bolts and two 16mm spacers on outside bolts and longer 20mm on inside. This is because of the cyl offset from left to right as the foglights attach to the cyl head. Each foglight was plug and play to existing bike's harness. The switch installs in lower left by the fuel key release. That was plug and play too. The lights do a great job illuminating the ground in front of the bike as well as sides. They also look great in their location. All in all, a good value and easy install. They are bigbikeparts brand.

When you say left side is the sitting on the bike or setting in front of the bike looking at it. I'm an old sailor we should us port and starboard then it's always the same. Thanks for the write up, I'll install mine this weekend.

brackets for bike mounted and finished project. I left out the wiring harness that turns the fog lamps off when the high beams are turned on.
