Soft Luggage storage on the pillion seat

Looking to buy a "Kuryakyn Momentum Vagabond" and strap it down on top of the oem pillion seat (I don't have backrests or a rear rack). What would be a secure way to attach this. No bungee/stretch type cords....looking for a rock solid mounting solution.

I use endless ratchet straps to secure luggage/tents/coolers. I pushed and shoved the luggage to check it and it didn't budge. You can cut them to the size you need.

Too much...lol $178 Thanks for the info on the viking bags! But after more thought (I never go on any big trips anyways) & research I've decided against it....just gonna go with this bigger version of the bag that I already have since it mounts via the same quick disconnect strap clips so it'll be easy to switch between bags 👍

You can always get a sissybar. The OEM one is pricy but if you're handy you can always make brackets to fit a generic one. But to be honest if you're hauling gear don't cut corners. Dropping gear on the freeway can suck. Ask my how I know.. 😉

This is what I use, sits straight across my Corbin seat, roll top and 100% waterproof.

Two of these crossed over attached to the grab rails, bag doesn't move an inch.

Other bags in the same range, they clip on top of each other to give additional space, works a treat.

Had a guy make a rack for the top box a while back, all the storage space I need, no wide panniers sticking out.
