Did you hesitate between

getting the F6B "bagger" or the F6C ?

After riding the F6C, do some of you have some thoughts about the same engine with more protection and some storage space?

Not starting a conflictual thread here, I personnaly think that both bikes are wonderful and have their advantages.

Summer is coming, enjoy!

The f6c is lighter and with the little windscreen the proctection is okay. You can add saddlebags too for extra space.

I am regretting it. I could have had an F6B for only 2 or 3k more. I didn't do my research though and some things you can't know until you do it. Oh well, wife says i can trade it in a couple years for an F6B or something else. Really like the Victory CrossCountry and the Concours 14. I'll see what style I'm appealing to in a few years.

Yes . Those were the 2 I was tore between. For me it came down to seating position/posture. I had a 2009 wing and after 100 miles I was barely able to get off and be able to move. The f6b felt pretty close to the same to me. The valkyrie is way more comfortable for me and with a few mods just as competent for distance. My past broken bones made the decision for me. So far I love their decision lol

The c14 has a poor seat et you need a better windshield and of course a risers set. The engine is good but the gravity center is very high. I treaded my c14 for the f6c and i love it.

Agree on the concours14. Had one that we took to the tail of the dragon. Stock seat is horrible. Replaced with a corbin.Stock windshield not bad but I did buy a tad bigger screen. Wished I had risers. But loads of fun in the twisties.

Too bad that we are so distant ... We could have worked out a deal... Still don't know for sure if I'd rather ride an F6C ... But I think this more my style. Again the bagger is wonderful but I don't need it. I wish that I could try the new Valkyrie and if the feeling is confirmed then trade it for mine.. I don't need to get money out of it, just wish not to loose some... (My ride has 16k kms and max extended warranty)

You did great... My friend told me to try both and let my body decide... Did not get the chance and went for the bagger after several months reading both forum...could not find any unhappy owner... be healthy!

Spirit Rider, want to trade? lol... I'll meet you halfway.

I told myself the same thing, "i can add stuff later"....come to find out Honda and (especially corbin) want me to start a life of crime just to be able to afford simple things like a luggage rack $200, back rest $300, and hard bags ($1,800!!!!!)..... it's friggin ridiculous. I agree, the bike is a blast to ride and comfortable as heck. Just not doing everything i wanted in a bike very cheaply.

Alot of people ride Harleys around here, including my friends and family but I can't stand Harleys. I wanted to move from a sport bike to a cruiser of some sort though because my Wife likes to ride with me but on a sport bike it's so uncomfortable for both of us. Plus sports bikes aren't relaxing like cruisers are. I had a 2007 VFR800 before which was good to me so I decided to stick with honda. I really like the Victory alot though and wish I would have sat on one before buying my Valk. It is like a sophisticated, well engineered Harley but still fits in with the Harley crowd i ride with.

TroyOH, I like the seat and bags, just can't convince myself they are worth the $$$.... maybe after the bike is paid off I won't feel so guilty.

I'm hoping over the years, more stuff will be available for the new valk with a smaller premium to make me enjoy it more. I took it out today and it still put a smile on my face and I got two compliments on it from other motorists on how cool it looked

I couldn't decide so I just got all 3 LOL. I have the Wing, F6B and the Valk, I just pick which one I'm feeling that day and ride away. The bags are expensive but no 1800, the honda bags look good for $599 plus the brackets and are water tight from my understanding and they actually look good in my opinion. So get the backrest, the bags and a screen should be about $1350 I think.

Bags and Brackets $700, backrest $250 and the windshield (Gustaffson setup is about $400). If you want the Ergo II hwy pegs are great for $200 as well and you can ride the thing anywhere you want. Get really fancy and add the smart driver backrest for about $250 I think. So $1750 in total accessories to completely deck out a Valk and you've got a bike that can either cruise the backroads in style, power and comfort or hit the interstate and take long road trips to nowhere in perfect comfort. Oh and put on the Vista cruise throttle lock for $30.

Granted the F6B with more protection is nice and the integrated bags are great, as is the radio but it's also heavier and takes away some of the visceral feel of the Valk but not as restricted in protected as a wing.

If you can only own one and you don't want to buy accessories then the F6B is probably a great compromise all around, espeically the deluxe with centerstand, backrest, cruise, etc.

My Garage:
2015 Mustang GT - Performance Package
2014 Focus ST - Still Stock
2014 Honda GoldWing - Yup to many mods
2014 Honda Valkyrie - Backrest/Rack/Rivco Cruise Pegs/Throttle Lock/Gustaffsen 21" Windshield
2015 Honda F6B - Kury center console/Stock GL1800 Windshield/Ergo II cruise pegs
