OMG, it's ride-able weather today!

This winter has been terrible. Every day has been cloudy, cold and wet. Not much pretty snow in SE Central Illinois this year to compensate, either.

Today, which starts in about fifteen minutes, sunlight-wise, is going to be sunny and 57 degrees!!! It's already 37 and the sun isn't even up yet! I will be riding until 5:14, sunset. (My DMV took away my night-time driving privileges last June, so I'm trying to compensate.) And I'll have plenty of time to get to my recliner, a little scotch in hand, for kick-off. I'm going to have a grin on my face today, no matter who wins!

I'm going to be extra careful riding today. There's my new-found euphoria this morning, which can be distracting, and sand and/or salt at every intersection. AND no one is looking for motorcycles yet. Ride safe.

Garage
Rode yesterday in glorious 74 degree sunshine. Got her washed and pretty and covered for the next week of rain. I probably should have left it dirty and got in the extra miles in that time.

I'm really missing those temps after the snow we've gotten in Chicago this week. I was out riding Sunday in what people from Chicago call southern IL, which is basically anything south of I-80 to us. I was also out the 2 days prior, so riding above freezing was a nice change of pace!
