Throttle Lock

New owner here. 2014 valk black. First ride was 150 miles and I can already tell I’m going to like this machine. Smooth, strong and nimble with a cool kind of turbine whine to it😎. And it’s not one of the crowd, I like that it’s so different and rare by comparison.

On my list of improvements is something to lock the throttle for a little while so I can flex that right hand.

Recommendations from the group please. Links and pictures appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I used an OMNI-Cruise on a ride of 8000km in 4 days.

I've used them on a whole bunch of bikes and as a bonus they can be slipped on and off a bike in just seconds.

Me too with the Omni-cruise that Ox uses. I find I use it very intuitively now and like it a lot. Its beautifully engineered too and should last as long as I do. I believe there are copies out there and even plastic ones but I gave up on that approach years ago. Buy right, buy once is my motto these days.
PS...I don't use the rubber band they supply, just have mine straight on the grip. I find it's easier to adjust on the fly that way....YMMV

I use the same type of throttle lock as well. It's plastic without the adjustment and is only about $20. Works great.

I have an omni cruise as well. Lots of hills where I live so I am adjusting it pretty regularly but... it is nice to take your right hand of the throttle for a few minutes every once in awhile.

I use the Go Cruise 2 in Aluminum. It appears that the Omni cruise pictured above would be a better choice because of the size of the thumb-push. Go Cruise 2 is $ 32 on amazon.

I'm surprised Ox could find his throttle lock in that handlebar array(!)

I just received the same throttle lock, packaging says for 1” bar but the handlebar bracket looks like a 7/8”. Any input on that?
