we have all been there and done that. a few of us are still walking riding breathing. the key is to learn something from it and vow to never do it again.. at 18y/o, I rode 130s on my 73 yam tx750 before it blew its cookies. while flying at 4ft above the pavement, me thinks, WTF am I doing? this was on an interstate w/o all the road side ambiance to distract. a very gentle roll off the throttle and a mile or more to ease her back into sane numbers.. I never want to see pavement move so fast under me unless I am lifting an airplane off the tarmac. poncho

Yup, I came out of that situation very lucky....there were a lot of variables that could've gone bad.
That was the first time I hit the limiter (before the fastest was 118), so now I can be satisfied that I know it's there lol

**** off you total dickhead.

Riding 100+mph in a 45 zone gets you that "Dickhead" badge. It has nothing to do with nobility, nor perfection, nor me.

Take it to the track or get out west in the 90+ areas and have the time of your life.

You still don't get it. Killing yourself is not the problem - it could be argued that's just Natural Selection at work. It's the poor bastarrd pulling out of his driveway, minding his own business, only to be hit side-on by a 127mph, 800lb cruise missile. There's no "badge of honour" here mate. You're a complete donkey who doesn't realise he's a donkey. And that's the really dangerous part. Poncho admits to doing the same when he was young but acknowledges he was a fool. Stay off your bike buddy if you can't control yourself.

Yes the Valk has all the speed i need as the crazy days are over for me.
mine was a 2000 unrestricted built in 1999 and did over 200 MPH indicated on the 220 MPH speedo twice , then realized what a fool i was and it had to go.
we need to enjoy these great machines for what they are

We have a fast bike and I would think most of us have gone faster than we should, I have not gone that fast but there are times when I have gone over a hundred it happens fast and it's easy to do on this bike.
HValkrider is not the only one who has hit top speed.
Why are other Goldwinger trying to bypass the top speed limiter?
Ride safe!

No. But I'll venture no-one else has done it in a 45 zone.
