Thanks Buster!

I've looked at power ports some. I'd love to find one with a couple USB ports, a cigarette socket, a volt meter and an on/off switch. Don't know if that exists. I like your use of a coat hanger for routing.

I'd like to get the fog light kit. Is the color of the lights changeable from white to amber, or fixed? It has an astonishing number of parts, which makes me think it will be quite a challenge for a mechanical neophyte like me.

Cruise control is cheap enough - I may get that in time. The pegs - Kuryakns are beautiful but too pricey. I'm perfectly happy with stock pegs.

Great stuff! Thanks!

No disassembly and I did use zip ties.
For the ass. plug you will need to buy some small pins so you can plug it it, I used the plug cover. I don't know what the plugs pins are called but they are tiny. My Honda had a box of them and he give me what I needed.
Or you could cut into the wire.
Honda does sell a ass. wire with a cigarette plug on the end I believe the price is $79.99

Well, after waiting TWO WEEKS for ANYONE to reply to my shipping bid request on UShip, not one entity made a bid to ship my bike. I suppose it's due to the rural location in NW Iowa as a starting point. So, I was very kindly referred by forum member Flat Six to consider Daily Direct. I contacted them and had a contract in hand within one day. They're a tad pricey, but the bike will be covered inside a locked semi trailer, insured on the way, and driven by a driver who is a biker. It is to be delivered to me by July 2, depending on pickup date. I am pumped.

I already bought the OEM saddlebags, after seriously considering the Corbins whose look and function I greatly prefer, but after reading a review on here, I chose to go OEM.

Now I'm looking at the Omni Cruise, and a power port, and a few other things like a luggage rack (WHY didn't Honda make one in BLACK?).

Images to follow!

OK, I'll bite. How do you know?

Hopefully it will be shorter than that, but I am already drooling.

OK, I'll tell my tale of woe seeing you asked

The local Honda dealer had a "new" red 2015 on the floor.

"Sorry, you can't have that one, it's sold."

"Ok, are there any more?"

"There's one left in our warehouse on the other side of town - it's also red"

"Great, I'll take it. Here's my money."

"Ah, there's a slight catch. The bike can't be released until Honda finishes upgrading its computerised inventory system which unfortunately just started today."

"No worries, how long?"

"Three weeks"

Watching paint dry would've made the time go faster. And to make matters worse, I'd already sold my other bike. Bikeless and VALKLESS for three weeks. I was that pumped when it finally arrived the blood was coming out my ears. I think I stared at that thing in the garage for an hour when I got home, pinching myself that I finally had it after reading/watching every review on the internet ten times over.

Hang in there mate....it's worth it

Oh man! That would have been brutal knowing it was a simple computer database entry between you and the bike! I'm ready for a serious photo opp the minute it gets here, along with some accessorizing.

Well, still waiting for my bike. I called them Monday and they won't give me any idea where it is or its ETA, other than to say it's somewhere between Milwaukee and Harrisburg, and that I should expect it the first week in July. Yet they know precisely where it is at all times. Geepers, you were right - it is KILLING me. I have the saddlebags, powerport and throttle lock all ready to install.

I am going to be a busy boy when it gets here. Registration, titleing, state inspection, checking oil and tire pressure, fill up the gas, adjust mirrors, detailing, and PHOTOS!

Oh the anticipation!
