yes I agree , but those prices are not available in California .. checked every dealer in the vicinity .. and I didn’t want to take a chance with transportation and hassles associated with it ... so , it really comes to 9.5 plus taxes and fees , and then the convenience of trading in ... even if I sold my current bike on CL - it would only fetch me approx $500 more ... I tried my best to get a 9.5k out the door but the sales guy was a little adamant on the price , and I didn’t wanna let this go as they had already sold another one for a little lesser price / higher mileage ...

you got the fast blue one. that's bangin! take it easy and your time getting to know her. just like a horse, every bike has a different personality, handles different. don't go spanking her till you know and are ready for what she can do. you are ridding a thoroughbred race horse, not that mule you just traded in.

The dealer still pleads ignorant regarding warranty - hard to believe - they just wanted to upsell me with the Aegis 3-year warranty for $600 ( though they started with $ 800) , I declined... of course .. thanks but no thank you! What I did was - I called Honda's customer service with the VIN # before I made the purchase and I found out that the original Manufacturer warranty is valid until October 2019 and I have an option to renew it for a further 2 years if I wish to before it expires.
Thanks again.. I'm so glad I found this forum and my VALK!

Rode her to work this morning..approx. 30 miles mostly freeway... what a HUGE Difference .. from the V-Twin... I'm really happy with what I experienced, the ride quality and the responsiveness... on the freeway, she was flying.. cruising at 77 seemed more like 45 mph.didnt feel it at all. Now, I need to determine how effectively I can split lanes - that's the exercise for next week.
