Italian design, Japanese engineering

Looks like a winner to me:

We got the "raging bull", this one's the "crouching Cobra"

Great to see Honda using young, creative designers in their Rome R&D centre. Gotta keep looking forward, not back.

I don't care for the pipes being exposed.

When I think of Italian design and Japanese engineering I think of the prior gen CB1000r. I would love to find an unmolested one. If Im not mistaken I believe they were even made in Italy.

Love that bike. Looks similar to the K1600R bmw proto that was never built.

I'd buy an Evo 6 if Honda made it a sporty standard of the Goldwing. A great competitor against the new Triumph Rocket and Ducati Diavel.
And likely it wouldn't be $25k like a Goldwing. And the new Rocket in the states is $21k which is kinda steep. Put the Evo 6 at say $18,900 and Honda would sell these well.

bring those handlebars back some, maybe a little higher as well, move the footpegs forward a bit.. then it might be comfy to ride.
hope the passenger doesnt mind smokin feet.
and what is with that rear brake lever?

cant imagine it actually runs tho.. does all the radiator heat pass over the intake and exits the back wheel maybe? hot seat I think

meh .. I'll stick to my Valk
