I just recently found out this product exists, even though it's been around for some time. Since I plan to take some longer trips, this might be useful in addition to the tire plug set.

I am always skeptical of these types of products, is anyone else running it in their tires? What do you think about if you do?

I asked my tyre guy about putting a similar product in the new tyres he had just fitted to my bike. "It's not that it doesn't work" he said, "it's the ******* mess I will have to deal with when I replace the tyre!"

Update: just watched the video...it says this product doesn't cause this problem. Suck it and see I guess.

I carry a mini compressor , tire repair pugs , small flashlight and still manage to keep a frogg tog rain suit all in the right side compartment.

I did trim out all the walls inside it and have one large compartment now.

Never had any luck with the repair in a can stuff and not tried the ride on sealant but I would like to know I have something nasty in my tire so that would be why I have never used it.

I have however permanently fixed 2 tires now with things like this... This is a recommendation for this kit, it is just an example.

Unless you have the compressor like use2b don't think for a second 3 co2 cylinders like in that kit will get you out of trouble. I carry 10 and I think I needed 5 last time?? Been a while but yeah these things are so easy to use I kicked myself for not doing it earlier. Up and riding in 5.

I went ahead and bought this - arrived today:

https://rockycreekdesigns.com.au/collections/tyre/products/motopressor-pocket-pump

First impression all good coz it's ALL METAL!! Comes in a good neoprene pouch and includes various battery connection cable options. Just about the ugliest bit of gear I own but certainly looks bullet proof.

I also bought this:

https://rockycreekdesigns.com.au/collections/tyre/products/clip-on-90-degree-valve-extension

Have bought a couple of similar things in the past and ended up ditching them. I like this one though. Solid - and you can tell that the clip mechanism is much better than the other rubbish I bought. No more contorting myself like a gymnast just to attach my compressor hose to the valve stem!!!

Looks like Rocky Creek Designs actually pick stuff that works. Now there's a nice change...
